Teams make money by buying coffee from suppliers, trading with the other syndicates and selling coffee blends to customers at a profit. Along the way they experience both sides of the customer equation, as buyers and as sellers.
From Kenya to the Caribbean and from Brazil to Borneo, success in the coffee business takes excellent market intelligence and great service, combined with the ability to respond quickly to ever-changing consumer trends and tastes.
The game is played over three trading years, and the winner is the syndicate with the most cash at the end of the third year.
