In Classic Cinema Remake, teams produce their own short versions of a classic Hollywood movie.
Each team has an amazing range of props and costumes to help bring its film to life. Teams are given a movie, then write the script, cast the roles, plan the shots and rehearse their 15-minute version of the classic. Costumes and props spark ideas immediately, and teams quickly find their natural directors, writers and stars.
Then the cameras roll. Teams get to work producing and filming, often re-shooting scenes until they are just right.
In as little as three hours, every team has its movie in the can. After the premieres are screened, a star-studded awards ceremony celebrates the best performances and productions, with plenty of laughter along the way.
Learning outcomes
In this fun, laughter-filled challenge, participants lose their inhibitions and get creative. They step out of their comfort zone to act, write scripts and film, often with hilarious results. Even the quietest colleagues often surprise everyone once the costumes go on.
