About
Grand Mural Reveal begins with participants forming small teams. Each team collects brushes, paint, a blank canvas and a diagram outlining its part of the artwork. Each canvas is only one piece of a much larger image that no team has seen in full.
Teams then mix their paints to create the right colours and start painting their canvas.
Soon into the exercise, teams realise that for the overall artwork to succeed, they need to collaborate with the other teams, matching colours and lines where their canvases meet. Teams quickly learn that small details, like where a line ends or how a colour is mixed, matter to the whole group.
The highlight is the final reveal. After a debrief session, the completed masterpiece is unveiled to all participants for the first time, which always brings loud cheers and thunderous applause.
