Frontier Fortune Hunt
Strategy, timing and smart information win the race for limited treasure.

About
The streets are paved with coins in Frontier Fortune Hunt. Teams collaborate and multitask across eight different levels at the same time, all in an effort to strike it rich and win the game.
The treasure is limited. To cash in, teams must retrieve a secret code and swap it for money with the Claims Administrator, following the correct procedure, or the claim will not be processed.
Along the way, teams can earn extra rewards by completing a range of tasks. Every 30 minutes a press release is issued: some are freely available, while others are given behind closed doors to a paying audience.
The information in these press releases offers a golden opportunity to grow a team’s wealth substantially, but only for those who act swiftly.
Learning outcomes
Frontier Fortune Hunt is a sensational experiential learning activity that energises, excites and generates real competitive spirit.
All participants start on a level playing field, which makes it a compelling cross-functional activity for a whole organisation, from top to bottom. Mixing people from different departments and levels in the same team often reveals hidden talents and fresh ways of working together.
Participants learn the value of business intelligence, planning and communication through hands-on practice. Planning the work, working the plan and resisting the temptation to cut corners are critical to success.
Mirroring the challenges and rewards of real business, the game works just as well with a small group as with a big one. Teams see how good information, clear roles and disciplined processes turn into results, and how quickly shortcuts can cost them.
