Project Brief

The primary objective of the Community Service Project Renovating School is to renovate two existing classrooms that are currently affected by deteriorated walls, damaged flooring, and leaking roofs.

Working alongside professional local builders and school staff, participants support the renewal of learning spaces to ensure classrooms are safer, more comfortable, and better suited to daily teaching and learning activities.

The Need For School Renovation

Vietnam has a young population and a strong national commitment to education. However, in many rural and low-income areas, school buildings have aged significantly, and limited funding is available for maintenance and repairs.

While families and communities often contribute where possible, many parents face financial hardship and are unable to provide sufficient support. As a result, students continue to learn in environments that are physically uncomfortable and sometimes unsafe.

Morning transfer to the project location, school introduction, orientation, and preparation of classrooms for renovation

Transportation and organization of construction materials

Continued renovation support, including floor and roof repair assistance

Day 4
Morning English learning activities with students
Afternoon classroom renovation and repainting

Day 5
Project completion, classroom opening ceremony with the school community, reflection session, and return to Ho Chi Minh City
