About
Starship Crime Scene is a murder mystery team activity set aboard a space station. High-definition graphics and escape room style problem solving keep every team member engaged from start to finish.
Taking turns to share a VR headset, teams pit their collective wits against the clock to work out how, why and when a crime in deep space took place. Every player gets a turn as the investigator inside the starship, while teammates outside keep track of the evidence.
Their investigation takes them through the levels of an abandoned starship, carefully searching for clues along the way.
Interactive features and digital sound effects add to the intrigue as teams venture into unexplored sectors, piecing together a trail of evidence until they can finally solve the crime.
Learning outcomes
Starship Crime Scene is a multiplayer virtual reality game that develops leadership and teamwork skills under the pressure of competition and time.
Teams learn that active listening and asking the right questions are the keys to success, especially when only one person can see the scene.
Using deductive reasoning, from the general to the specific, teams link the clues together to reach a logical conclusion. As each player takes a turn in the virtual world, the team gets better at telling the difference between what it believes and what is really there.
The race to be the first team with the right answer at each level encourages positive behaviour and keeps every team member actively engaged, doing their very best for the team.
