Virtual World Rescue
One of you sees the virtual world, the rest hold the answers. Talk fast.

About
In Virtual World Rescue, a team of ethical hackers is called to a secret mission. The night before, a young man trying out a new virtual reality headset from a suspicious company was physically pulled into the game’s virtual world.
The team’s mission is to move back and forth between the virtual and real worlds, finding clues to help rescue him and bring him back.
One team member at a time wears the VR headset and describes the virtual world, while teammates in the real world hold the solutions: a set of lock modules and a guidebook that opens the doors to each room.
Just when they think they are finished, teams are pushed to a second level, with the same rooms and more complicated locks. A main screen shows every team’s progress, keeping the competition lively.
Learning outcomes
Virtual World Rescue is a strong lean management business game based on real-time collaboration and communication.
The more precisely the player in the virtual world describes the problem, the faster their teammates in the real world can find the solution. Teams quickly see the cost of vague instructions. Teammates learn to ask better questions and to confirm what they have heard before acting.
The game has a strong learning curve. Iterative learning, combined with continuous feedback and improvement, helps teams solve problems more efficiently in the second level than in the first.
It is a versatile and powerful tool for discussing the complex issues facing modern businesses, especially those working with remote teams and agile methods, where clear communication across distance is everything.
